Overview of Project
This project involved the creation of appropriate marine infrastructure to accommodate 11 fully serviced moorings for FP250 houseboats.
Client Brief
Bluetech was appointed to design an appropriate scheme to sit within an existing marina and to manage all aspects of the scheme including the installation of pontoons and services.
Technical Challenges
The new moorings had to be installed within an existing marina, without impacting on the day-to-day activities within the site.
Transportation and craneage of floating pods.
The new fixed jetties comprise timber decking on a steel substructure and include service connections for water and electricity, together with low-level lighting and secure mooring points.
